Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Job Summary: The Quality Engineer
(QE) is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining
quality systems that ensure products, processes, and services meet
customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements. The QE
applies quality engineering principles, statistical methods, and
continuous improvement tools to drive defect prevention, process
control, and overall operational excellence. Essential Functions:
Ensure products, processes, and services conform to customer,
regulatory, and internal quality requirements. Develop, implement,
and maintain elements of the Quality Management System (QMS) in
accordance with ISO 9001 or other applicable standards Analyze
quality data using statistical and analytical tools to identify
trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Lead or support root
cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive
actions (CAPA). Monitor manufacturing and business processes to
ensure effectiveness and control. Support internal and external
audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up activities.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and requirements to
ensure quality criteria are defined and met. Define, review, and
support inspection methods, acceptance criteria, and sampling
plans. Investigate nonconformances, customer complaints, and
supplier quality issues and support resolution. Collaborate
cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain,
and operations teams. Support continuous improvement initiatives
using Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality methodologies. Communicate
quality performance, risks, and status to internal stakeholders
and, as required, to customers or suppliers. Maintain accurate and
complete quality records and documentation. Support training and
awareness of quality procedures and requirements. Minimum
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in quality related displine 2
years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing
environment.
