Job Description:

Judge Direct Placement is currently seeking a Plant Director for a consumer goods manufacturing facility in the Baltimore, MD area.Responsibilities:*Direct and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, engineering, quality, HR, finance/accounting and shipping/receiving.*Coordinate plant activities through strategic planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner*Develop and control profits plans and budget Implement cost effective systems of control over capital operating expenditures manpower wages and salaries*Manage capital asset maintenance*Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards*Control and minimize labor overtime and other operating expenses*Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives*Incorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel*Provides direction, development and leadership to Production SupervisorQualifications and Education Requirements:*Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university is required.*5+ years' experience as a Plant Manager with full P & L responsibility*Strong experience with highly automated manufacturing processes*Strong experience managing capital projects and facility improvements*Strong knowledge and implementation of Lean Manufacturing (5s/6s)UI 671048
