Job DescriptionNAPA Auto Parts is seeking an experienced and
energetic Human Resources Manager to join our Midwest team, based
out of Chicago. The Human Resources Manager is a pivotal member of
the Midwest Division team, responsible for executing HR strategies
for 6 NAPA Distribution Centers and surrounding company-owned

- Manage employment practices and employee relations for the
Distribution Center and stores.
- Increase bench strength through recruiting, coaching, and
development.
- Provide leadership and create a work environment that positions
NAPA as the preferred employer in the community.
- Partner with management to ensure the talent needs are met for
current and future business priorities.
- Conduct new employee orientations to facilitate quick job
performance.
- Maintain high standards in performance management, coaching,
discipline, and terminations.
- Administer company programs and training initiatives.
- Lead employee involvement, safety, and benefits meetings.
- Coach managers on employee management, retention, and
recognition techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and
policies.
- Develop managers to effectively handle employee relations and
performance expectations.
- Manage employee separation processes and analyze data to
improve the employee experience.Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Human Resources or related field preferred,
or 5 years of equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years managing HR functions for 100-500 employees
preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- SHRM certification (PHR or SPHR) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; PeopleSoft and Kronos
experience preferred.
- 1-2 years payroll administration experience.
- Ability to leverage technology for decision-making.
- Ability to develop effective relationships inside and outside
the organization.Compensation and BenefitsSalary: $136,500 (may
vary based on experience and qualifications).Benefits include
