Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for
this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad
range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual
salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors,
including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the
skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the
candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our
comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also
eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. Salary Range
$142,500.00 – $235,100.00 Target Openings 1 What Is the
Opportunity? As a AVP, Business Transformation Change you will be
lead a team responsible for organizational Change Management within
Business Insurance. In this role, you will leverage the Travelers
enterprise organizational change management framework to develop
and implement a strategy that aligns with Business Insurance
objectives and enhances the organization’s adaptability to evolving
market conditions. Likewise, you will develop change management
capabilities across Business Insurance, chair the cross-functional
Transformation Change Council, identify change impacts for
large-scale initiatives, assist with sequencing decisions, and
advance change management strategies to achieve business outcomes.
In doing so, you will work closely with the leadership teams across
Enterprise Change, the Business Insurance and the line of business
CIO to ensure a full view of the most significant change affecting
our key stakeholders and customers. Additionally, you will
participate in the Enterprise Organization Change Management
Community of Practice and help develop champions for effective
change adoption. What Will You Do? Define and articulate the vision
for change management within Business Insurance in alignment with
overall business strategy and goals. Build and lead a
high-performing team fostering a culture of collaboration,
accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop team
members to enhance their skills and career growth. Represent the
organization as a thought leader in change management practices and
participate in industry forums to bring back insights, learnings,
and innovative ideas to the organization. Develop and implement an
adaptable Business Insurance change management framework in
partnership with Enterprise, including methodologies, tools,
communication strategies and best practices that guide all change
initiatives and meet the needs of the organization. Lead business
transformation initiatives in partnership with Business Process
Management (BPM) and leverage BPM methodologies to optimize
workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure alignment with
organizational goals. Conduct thorough change assessments to
evaluate change readiness, organizational culture, and change
resistance and implement strategies to prepare the organization.
Design and implement training programs to equip employees with the
skills and knowledge needed to adapt to change. Perform other
duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development,
Change Leadership, or a related field. Eight or more years of
experience in change management or organizational development, with
a proven track record of driving successful change initiatives in
related field such as underwriting, finance, etc. Five years of
experience with proven leadership, collaboration, and influencing
skills to build and lead high performing teams. Certification in
one or more Change Management or similarly recognized group such as
ProSci, CCMP, etc. Expert knowledge of change management
methodologies and tools, with a track record of successful
implementation in previous roles. Expert communication skills to
engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns and
ensure their buy-in and support for change initiatives. Expert
critical thinking and problem-solving ability to analyze complex
situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
Comprehensive understanding of insurance principles, policies, and
procedures in the Property & Casualty space. Time management and
organization skills to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
and manage multiple priorities. What is a Must Have? Seven years of
experience in change management or organizational development, with
a proven track record of driving successful change initiatives.
