*Join Ridgeview and Unlock Your Potential as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Float *As a *Registered Nurse (RN)- Float Pool in Waconia*, you will be responsible for delivering individualized patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.*Minimum Education/Work Experience for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Float ** Graduate of an accredited school of nursing*RN - Float Pool License/Certifications:** Current professional nurse licensure in Minnesota or if licensed in another state, a permit from the Minnesota Board of Nursing while the license application is in process* BLS Certification* ACLS* TNCC or successful completion of trauma education that meets the requirements of the state trauma system within one year of hire*RN Preferred Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in nursing*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities for a Float Registered Nurse** Demonstrate critical thinking and decision making* Ability to work autonomously and as a team* Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills* Ability to work and multi-task in a high stress and fast paced environment* Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations* Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above*Your Role*:As a nurse, you'll be at the forefront of healthcare, assessing patient health problems and needs. Your key responsibilities will include:* Assessing patient health problems needs and developing, implementing and evaluating patient care plans accordingly.* Providing nursing care.* Advising and educating patients, family members and significant others on health maintenance and disease prevention for the patient.* Documenting and maintaining accurate medical records and reports.* Participating in quality improvement activities as appropriate to position.* Serving as a patient advocate in seeking appropriate community resources to meet patient needs.* Interacting with and contributing to the professional development of peers, other healthcare providers, and colleagues to enhance own professional nursing practice.* Demonstrating competencies in the specialty area of Emergency.* Performing other duties as assigned.*Join Our Team*:This isn't just a job; it's a calling.
