Position Overview
As the Inventory Allocation Manager for Offroad Vehicles you will
spearhead a team focused on the North American Retail Flow
Management (RFM) strategy. Your mission is to optimize dealer
stocking profiles and product allocations to expedite sales and
increase market share. You will collaborate with Product Line
Sales, Field Sales, SIOP, and Ship Performance teams to achieve
high retail volume and velocity. This role is not just about
managing inventory; it's about leading strategic initiatives that
make a tangible impact on the business and its goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of 3 Sales Analysts to execute strategic
inventory allocations.
Implement and manage the RFM strategy to enhance retail
performance, dealer turnover rates, and market share.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align dealer stocking
profiles and order allocation processes with strategic business
objectives.
Ensure accurate dealer order estimations feeding into the SIOP
supported by rigorous analytics and close collaboration with
internal teams.
Oversee system and process improvements in partnership with the
Polaris IT team to streamline operations and increase
efficiency.
Manage new product launch allocations, ongoing dealer order
accuracy, and strategic alignment.
Utilize advanced analytical tools such as Alteryx and Blue Yonder
to optimize operational processes and data accuracy.
Direct initiatives related to wholesale operations and maintain
robust communication channels for model launches and order
visibility with the dealer network.
Desired Competencies
Analytical Prowess : You thrive on dissecting data and deriving
insightful conclusions that inform business decisions. Your ability
to interpret complex data sets and utilize advanced tools like
Alteryx and Excel is crucial.

trends and align them with company objectives. Strategic planning
and execution are in your professional toolkit, enabling you to
effectively manage inventory and resource allocation.
Leadership and Development : You are not just a manager but a
mentor. Leading by example, you develop your team's skills and
capacities to meet both current and future organizational
demands.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, supply
chain, or related fields.
At least 1 year of experience managing a team.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management
skills.
Proven ability to operate effectively in a high-velocity
environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working collaboratively across various business levels
and functions.
Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Alteryx is
preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
