Position : No Job Summary: The Director of Therapy and Group
Services is responsible for overseeing Cornerstone’s mental health
services, including therapy for survivors of sexual violence,
domestic violence, and human trafficking. This role leads clinical
staff, supervises the internship program, holds a small caseload,
and manages services for sexually exploited youth. The Mental
Health Director ensures trauma-informed care across all programs
and actively contributes to program development.
Experience/Qualifications: Master’s degree in social work,
Psychology, Counseling, or related field. Licensed as LICSW, LMFT,
LPCC, or LP (doctorate level). Minimum 7 years of therapy
experience and 3 years of clinical supervision. Experience with
trauma-informed care and working with victims of violence.
Familiarity with electronic health records and billing processes.
Valid Minnesota driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Duties and
Essential Functions: Oversee the daily operations of mental health
services. Provide individual and group supervision to therapists
and interns. Lead program development for mental health services,
including intake, documentation, and therapy processes. Ensure
clinical staff adhere to professional standards and HIPAA
compliance. Oversee electronic health record systems and billing
processes. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in
compliance with NASW Code of Ethics. Manage recruitment, training,
and supervision of interns. Prepare reports for funders and
development staff. Provide therapeutic services to clients across
the lifespan, including individual, family, and group therapy.
Conduct mental health assessments and facilitate support groups as
needed. Collaborate with external agencies to coordinate
comprehensive care for clients. Work with other Cornerstone
programs to deliver prevention, education, and intervention
services. Develop relationships with community partners to enhance
outreach. Lead training for clinical staff, interns, and the
community on mental health topics. Provide onboarding and ongoing
training for new therapists and interns. Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
