Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A long-term substitute
social worker position is available at a school in Hopkins, MN,
offering an opportunity to provide vital social-emotional support
and behavior intervention services to students. This role requires
onsite presence at Hopkins North Middle School and spans a
full-time schedule of 40 hours per week from ASAP through June 12,
2026. Responsibilities include: - Conducting screening,
identification, assessment, and referral of students for
social-emotional support - Delivering crisis intervention and
social-emotional skill instruction - Collaborating with school
staff, families, and administrators to support student well-being -
Connecting students and families with community-based resources as
needed - Managing a caseload while covering a leave of absence for
the remainder of the school year Qualifications and desired
experience: - Bachelors degree in Education or a closely related
field - Valid School Social Worker license through the state's
Department of Education - Prior experience working as a social
worker in a school setting is required - Strong skills in crisis
intervention, behavior intervention, and social-emotional support
